Based in Italy OMG Machines are global specialists in the production of forklift trucks industry. They manufacture a variety of forklifts, as well as order picking vehicles, side loaders and pallet stackers.
Providing high quality forklift trucks since 1968
OMG Spa (Officine Meccaniche Gonzaga) is an Italian firm which manufactures forklift vehicles and other forms of indoor transportation for warehouses, factories and retailers. The company started life back in 1968 as a steel-working firm for agricultural clients. This soon changed, as the firm expanded its ambitions, opening a large new factory in the town of Gonzaga in 1975. By the 1980s, OMG Machines would be producing lift trucks at its own factory, and selling their advanced vehicles across the European continent. A breakthrough came in 1998, when OMG SRL began selling its popular electric forklifts, while counterbalanced forklifts were added in 2005, rounding off the firm's product portfolio of indoor vehicles industry. At this time, OMG SRL also started to conclude agreements with distributors around the world, expanding its operations to Japan and the Americas, and the company also started to work closely with universities to find skilled talent for its research and development efforts. New products also started to roll off the production line, including a range of industrial doors, which debuted in 2013. OMG Machines remains a medium sized firm with just over 100 employees, and is anchored in the Italian town of Gonzaga, yet has developed a truly global scope via commercial partnerships, and its membership of the larger Group HdC. It has certified dealers who operate on all continents, providing sales advice and maintenance support when needed.
